About Vietnam Xin Chào
Xin chao means hello - and that is genuinely how this company works. We are a small Vietnamese team that plans and runs trips for English-speaking travellers, mostly from India and Southeast Asia, who want Vietnam shown to them by someone who actually lives here.
How this started
We started on Instagram, answering the same questions hundreds of times: is April too hot, is Sapa doable with kids, will there be food I can eat? Somewhere along the way we realized travellers did not need another booking site - they needed a friend in Vietnam who picks up the phone.
So that is what we built. A small team, real conversations, trips assembled from operators we know personally, and one rule that never bends: we would rather lose a booking than oversell a trip that does not fit you.
What we stand on

Not marble lobbies - someone checking your train got in on time, your kids' dinner works and your driver knows the plan changed.
Honesty about seasons and prices
If your dates fall in storm season, we say so. If a cheaper option is genuinely better for you, we recommend it.
Local, personally verified
We work with operators and guides we know by name, and we keep score. When something is not up to standard, it leaves our catalog.
