Good questions about this tour
Is a one-day trip to Hue from Da Nang too rushed?
It's a full day, roughly 07:30 to 17:30, covering the scenic Hai Van route and Lang Co Bay, then the main Hue sights - Khai Dinh Tomb, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Imperial City - with a local lunch. It's efficient rather than rushed; if you want more time, an overnight in Hue lets you go deeper.
How much walking is there at the Imperial City?
The Imperial City is a 500-hectare site, so there's a fair amount of walking, but it's done at a relaxed pace with your guide. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sun protection - shade is limited in parts.
