Good questions about this tour

Do the Tam Coc boat rowers expect tips?

Just so you know in advance - tipping the rowers is a local custom and they often expect it. We'd suggest around 50,000-100,000 VND per boat (roughly $2-4) so you're prepared and don't feel put on the spot.

What's the difference between Tam Coc and Trang An?

Tam Coc has a more authentic countryside feel with rice paddies along the river - really raw, rural Vietnam. Trang An is the grander, UNESCO-listed cave system with more dramatic landscapes. This tour goes with Tam Coc for that traditional vibe.
