Good questions about this tour
This tour costs $50 more than the 2-day Bac Ha version - is it worth it?
The extra $50 gets you an additional day of trekking, a night in a local homestay and a much deeper cultural experience. It's worth it if you really want to soak up Sapa without feeling rushed. If your main interest is just the Bac Ha market, the shorter 2-day version covers that nicely.
Three nights in different places (bus, hotel, homestay) - isn't that complicated?
It sounds like a lot of moving parts, but it actually flows smoothly - your guide handles all the luggage transfers and timings between the bus, hotel and homestay. We've run this itinerary many times, so it's well tested.
