Hanoi arrival - Old Quarter

Arrive in Hanoi; welcome by your private guide and driver, transfer to your hotel to check in. Evening exploration of the Old Quarter's maze of guild streets, a cyclo ride past Hoan Kiem Lake, and a Cha Ca (grilled fish) dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi city tour → drive to Ha Long

Morning Hanoi sights - Ba Dinh Square, the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. Afternoon drive north to Ha Long. Evening by the shoreline with fresh seafood and the glow of the night market. Overnight near Ha Long.

Day 3 · B, L

Ha Long Bay day cruise → back to Hanoi

Board a traditional junk for a day cruise among Ha Long's emerald waters and towering karsts - caves, islets, and photo stops. Return transfer to Hanoi in the afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4 · B

Hanoi departure

Free morning in the Old Quarter - a last walk through the guild streets or a coffee over Hoan Kiem Lake - until your confirmed transfer to Noi Bai Airport (~45km, 40-50 min). Tour ends.

This route uses a day cruise so you sleep in a hotel each night, which many families and first-timers actually prefer. If you'd rather spend a night on the bay itself, we can swap in an overnight junk - just tell us and we'll quote the upgrade.
