Good questions about this tour
What's the best time of day to photograph the incense village?
The incense bundles are laid out to dry through the day, so mid-morning to early afternoon on a dry, sunny day is when the colours pop most for photos. If your dates look rainy, we still run the tour and provide ponchos, but let us know and we can suggest the best time slot.
Do we actually make the conical hats ourselves, or just watch?
It's hands-on - you'll sit with the artisans in Chuong Village and try the shaping and stitching yourself, not just watch. It's great for kids and anyone who likes a bit of craft.
