Good questions about this tour
Is the homestay clean?
The homestay is basic but well kept and reliable - it's a real local home, with shared bathrooms and simple beds. We'd suggest packing a sleeping liner if you prefer extra hygiene comfort, plus earplugs, since village mornings start early.
Is the cooking class a genuine hands-on experience?
Yes, it's a real hands-on session - you make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls with the host family. It's a real highlight if you enjoy interactive experiences. It's optional and depends a little on the host's schedule on the day, but it usually goes ahead.
What happens if it rains on the Day 2 trek?
If it rains, the trek can get slippery, but your guide will adjust the route or shorten sections to keep things safe while still covering the highlights. We'd recommend bringing waterproof gear so you stay comfortable either way.
