For most travellers, the cable car is the better choice - it's about a 30-minute ride to the summit with stunning panoramic views. Trekking to the top of Fansipan is a hardcore 2-3 day expedition that's beyond the scope of this tour, so the cable car is by far the most efficient way to experience the peak.
Does the cable car get crowded on Sundays and holidays?
Honestly, yes - Sundays and public holidays can get very crowded at the cable car. If your dates are flexible, we'd recommend visiting on a weekday for a much smoother experience.
