Is there any way to avoid the $30 single supplement as a solo traveller?
We understand the supplement adds up for solo travellers. If you let us know your dates in advance, we can sometimes match you with another solo guest to share a room and split the cost - just message us early to check availability.
Is Bai Dinh too crowded and commercial?
Honest answer - yes, Bai Dinh is the largest pagoda complex in Asia, so it does get busy and feels touristy. If you're after something more nature-focused and authentic, our Cuc Phuong 2-day 1-night tour through Vietnam's oldest national park might be a better fit.
Will the guide be with us in the evening?
Your guide finishes for the day after check-in at the Eco Retreat around 16:30, and rejoins you the next morning. The resort has a pool, bar and restaurant for you to enjoy in the evening at your own pace.
I have a sensitive stomach - will the buffet lunch be okay for me?
