Two UNESCO World Heritage landscapes in two days, one booking - built for travellers short on time. Day 1 covers Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu ancient capital, a rowing-boat ride through Tam Coc or Trang An, and the optional 500-step climb to the Mua Cave viewpoint, before a night at a countryside eco retreat. Day 2 transfers you to Halong Bay for a six-hour day cruise - Sung Sot Cave, kayaking at Luon Cave, a swim at Titov Island, and a sunset party on the way back to port. Departs Hanoi daily around 07:00, returns by about 21:00.

Is the combo worth it compared to booking Ninh Binh and Halong tours separately?
The combo packages everything together - accommodation, the Hanoi-Ninh Binh-Halong-Hanoi transfers and all the logistics - so you don't have to coordinate hotels and transport separately. If you're more price-sensitive and have the time to plan, booking the two tours separately can save you around $50-70 in exchange for a bit more legwork.
Is the 6:15 AM start on Day 2 really necessary?
It is an early start, no sugar-coating it - the Halong cruise needs a 3.5-4 hour drive from Ninh Binh, and that's fixed logistics with no way around it. If the pace feels too rushed, our 3-day 2-night version of this trip spreads it across two nights for a much more relaxed experience.
Can I customize the combo itinerary?
The combo itinerary is fixed. If you'd like to customize - for example swap Hoa Lu for Bai Dinh, or upgrade the day cruise to an overnight cruise - we can arrange a private tour or piece it together as separate bookings instead. Just let us know what you'd like to change.
