Itinerary - 7 Days 6 Nights

Day 1 · D

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City & city tour

Make your own way to the hotel. At 2 PM your guide meets the group in the lobby for the trip briefing, then out to the Saigon Central Post Office and the red-brick Notre-Dame Cathedral, through Cho Lon - the city's Chinatown - and finishing at Ben Thanh Market. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant with the full trip rundown.

*Arrive before 11 AM if you can. Later arrivals will only make the welcome dinner.*

Day 2

Ho Chi Minh City → Cai Lay → Cai Be (B, L) - 50km / 5h

Safety briefing and bike fitting in the lobby, then out towards Cai Lay through quiet countryside, crossing narrow creeks lined with fruit orchards. Stops at craft workshops for paper making, coconut candy and popped rice. A short ferry across a stream, then on past durian, jackfruit, mango, coconut and pomelo plantations. At the hotel by mid-afternoon. *Terrain: off-road, concrete canal paths.*

Day 3

Cai Be → Vinh Long → Can Tho (B, L) - 60-70km / 7h

A boat out to meet the vehicle, which runs to Vinh Long and its orchards. From there, quiet backroads shaded by fruit trees with the delta waterways alongside, through riverside communities. Lunch, then coconut groves and a local ferry crossing to finish in Can Tho. *Terrain: concrete canal paths, narrow country lanes.*

Day 4

Can Tho → Long Xuyen (B, L, D) - 50-90km / 5-8h

Boat to the Cai Rang floating market, where you choose between cruising the river or riding. Then through villages to the Stork Sanctuary, passing timber workshops, coconut shredders, rice loading docks and local markets. Get in the support vehicle whenever you like, or keep riding to lunch. More delta countryside in the afternoon before the transfer to the hotel in Long Xuyen, and a group dinner in the evening. *Terrain: concrete canal paths, narrow country lanes.*

Day 5

Long Xuyen → Tra Su → Chau Doc (B, L) - 60-100km

A short transfer to the start point, then riding along the river past traditional brick kilns. Tra Su Nature Reserve on the way: flooded cajuput forest, still waterways and a lot of birds. There is also the option to stop at Ba Chuc, a memorial with a small museum and glass-walled ossuary to the 1978 Khmer Rouge massacre. Into Chau Doc and the hotel, with the rest of the day free. A farewell dinner is organised for anyone who wants it (not included in the price). *Terrain: concrete canal paths, narrow country lanes.*

Day 6

Chau Doc → Ho Chi Minh City (B) - 240km / 6h by vehicle

Vehicle transfer back to Saigon in the morning, with the afternoon free in the city.

Day 7 · B
